Childrens Activities - Introduction
Each holiday we produce a leaflet with details of the activities programme for each holiday.
Leisure and Amenities have reviewed the holiday activities programme to ensure that it provides a range of fun and exciting activities for young people in the area aged 4 years and upwards .
Many of the changes to the programme have been based on feedback from parents and children who have attended previous clubs and coaching sessions.
Positive Futures

Positive futures is a national sports based social inclusion programme that fits in the East Ridings Sports Development Service.Positive Futures is funded by the home Office and managed by crime Concern.
Positive Futures uses sport to engage young people and works on building up relationships which enables the coaches to direct the young people through more positive gateways. In the East Riding Positive Futures operates in Bridlington, Goole, Withersea, and beverley engaging over 200 10 - 16 year old people per week in a in a variey of activities.
Summer Scorcha
Summer Scorcha holiday activities, run by the Sports Development Team, take Sports Play and Multi Sports out into community areas across the county. These sessions are based indoor and outdoor depending on the venue.
The Sports Development Team run coaching and play sessions during the summer school holidays .In the summer holidays a comprehensive Summer Scorcha programme is delivered into schools and East Riding facilities across the county.

Junior Recreation Sessions
The junior recreation session is a programme aimed at 8-16 year olds. The purpose is to provide the local youth with a safe, fun-filled, sports experience in a secure environment.
