National Pool Lifeguard Qualification
NPLQ
The next NPLQ course will be running during October 2010.
The summer courses have now been completed. All candidates were successfull and finished with the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (Units 1 and 2) and are now working within or searching for jobs within the leisure industry. Pre-requisites
All candidates must be 16 years of age before the start of the course.
Able to swim 50 mtrs in under 60 seconds.
Able to swim 100 mtrs head up front crawl.
Able to swim 100 mtrs backstroke.
Able to tread water for 30 seconds.
Able to retrieve an object from 2 mtrs deep.
